Q3 2006 EDITION

:: MAKING THE CASE FOR MULTI-CHANNEL MARKETING
Based on a recent Click Tactics survey conducted during a webinar with Direct Magazine and Forrester, over 50% of respondents state execution challenges keep them from executing multi-channel marketing and close to 10% say they don’t think it’s worth the effort. Check out these factoids that will help you make the case and push the envelope on relevancy and multi-channel marketing:

  • 71% of e-mail marketers say they engage in other offline direct marketing activities, including print, in a recent study conducted by Jupiter Research, demonstrating how email is increasingly intertwined with other marketing channels.
  • In Forrester’s report: B2B Marketing Needs a Makeover – Now, they suggest Integrated marketing “is the key to success” and recommend “…campaigns that leverage the unique strengths of individual tactics while they address business buyer motivations, deliver consistent brand experiences, and form ongoing relationships."
  • 66% of respondents to a recent survey conducted by Chief Marketer agreed that finding relevant content increased their likelihood to respond to permission-based e-mail.
