QA Analyst
Location: Waltham, MA or Atlanta, GA
As the QA Analyst you will support the delivery of high-quality information systems by leading the effort to plan, execute, and document results of tests of new or updated system capabilities. This includes primary responsibility for determining whether new or updated/custom system capabilities have been adequately tested for release to users in production. Determine level of testing required to validate new or updated system capabilities. Create test plans to accomplish required testing. Execute test plans. Report accurate testing status. Create test summary reports. Continuously improve test models, test data, and test processes based on lessons learned for both manual and automated tests. You should have previous experience as a QA Analyst as well as experience with back-end and end to end testing. Strong SQL skill required.
:: Required Experience:
- Back-End Testing and End-To-End Testing
- Strong skills with SQL and Data Auditing
- 3-5 years experience in testing commercial software
- Excellent knowledge and working experience in Test Planning, Execution, Result Analysis
- Expertise in creating, executing and maintaining manual and automated test scripts
- Mercury Test Suite experience preferred
- Experience working with web-based application developed using J2EE framework preferred
- Defect tracking/logging
